Rune System

The Betrayal & Council War

The BetrayalYear 329. Not a scheme — the mere idea of free immortality broke the Council. Eyuun fled with the "key."
Eyuun's LieHe never told the Council about the Starforge. Said the Soul Well needed "a key." His distrust started the war.
The Council WarYears 329–333. Seven Council members killing each other over a machine none could operate.
The MadnessNo grand conspiracy. Just the thought of infinite, free immortality was enough to destroy eight brilliant minds.
